The Teucrium Wheat Fund – NYSE: WEAT

WEAT trades like an ordinary stock – WEAT is available to trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE Arca) every market day through your usual brokerage account or professional financial advisor.

WEAT provides investors and hedgers with the ability to track the price of wheat, a commodity with an average daily trading value of approximately $3.3 billion.¹

WEAT is the only domestic investment vehicle available for investors and hedgers to obtain precise allocation to wheat in their portfolios without opening a futures account.

WEAT, as a result of the CBOT wheat futures contracts it holds, has been specifically designed to mitigate situations which are commonly referred to as “contango” and “backwardation.”

WEAT provides investors and hedgers with a tool allowing precise allocation to wheat. This precision allows investors and their advisors to invest in wheat as a stand-alone investment or to hedge their wheat exposure more fully than in mixed-commodity exchange-traded products (“ETPs”).

WEAT has a commodity-specific benchmark designed to reduce the cost of rolling the investment when compared to funds that hold only a single month.

WEAT provides transparency by posting the current holdings and pending trades nightly on the WEAT website: www.teucriumweatfund.com.

The SEC requires that all ETPs make available to investors the Intraday Indicative Value (IIV) of their ETP's share price. The IIV is calculated and updated every 15 seconds throughout the trading day based upon the value of the underlying holdings in an ETP's portfolio. It is independently calculated and disseminated by the listing exchange (in the case of the WEAT, it is calculated by the NYSE) so that investors have transparency similar to that of professional market-makers regarding the actual value of an ETP's share price at any given point in time.

The calculation of WEAT’s Intraday Indicative Value (IIV) can be found at http://finance.yahoo.com/^weat-iv. An Intraday Indicative Value is published by NYSE Alternext US for each ETP as a reference value to be used in conjunction with other ETP market information. The Intraday Indicative Value for the Teucrium Wheat Fund is published under a separate symbol every 15 seconds over the Consolidated Tape and calculated throughout the trading day using the prior day’s closing Net Asset Value per share as a base and updating that value throughout the trading day to reflect changes in the value of the Fund’s wheat interests during the trading day, based on actual trades, not bids or asks, all on a per-share basis. This value is also referred to as an “Underlying Trading Value,” “Indicative Optimized Portfolio Value (IOPV),” and “Intraday Value” in various places such as the prospectus and marketing materials for different ETPs. The Intraday Indicative Value is designed to give investors a sense of the share price of the Fund on an intraday basis. However, for various reasons, the Intraday Indicative Value should not be viewed as an actual real time update of the Net Asset Value. The WEAT IIV is updated during the pre- and post-market hours in addition to the regular trading hours, and as such, the absolute and percentage changes to the previous close may not reflect the change from the 4 p.m. ET close of the NYSE Arca, but rather the change from a later time. We believe for the Teucrium Wheat Fund that the IIV calculation is most accurate when the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) pits are open for open-outcry trading. For trading hours, see http://www.cmegroup.com/trading_hours/commodities-hours.html)

Why the Name “TEUCRIUM”?

According to Dictionary.com, Teucrium (pronounced two-cree-um) “is a large, widely distributed genus of perennial herbs, shrubs, or subshrubs native to the Mediterranean region to western Asia.”

We named our firm Teucrium because, according to the Roman poet Horace, the Greek god Teucer, prior to setting sail for Cyprus, told his followers, “We will set sail upon the vast ocean,” a feeling which we believe symbolizes the “voyage of discovery” upon which all of us at Teucrium are embarking each day.

Investing in Wheat Interests subjects WEAT to the risks of the wheat markets, and this could result in substantial fluctuations in the price of WEAT’s Shares. Unlike mutual funds, WEAT generally will not distribute dividends to Shareholders.

Investors may choose to use WEAT as a means of investing indirectly in wheat or as a vehicle to hedge against the risk of loss, and there are risks involved in such investments and activities. The Sponsor has limited experience in operating a commodity pool, which is defined as an enterprise in which several individuals contribute funds in order to trade futures or futures options collectively.

Commodities and futures generally are volatile and are not suitable for all investors.
